I went to the cinema recently, and it only then hit me how much that whilst I don’t really watch much TV, when I do, I rely totally on the remote-control to zap the adverts. I can’t watch an advert for 5 seconds – I have to flick over, or switch on teletext, or do something.
It was really annoying in the cinema – I was really missing having a remote control to skip over them.
