However, these days, every bloody advert is for ambulance-chasers, or loan-sharks --- they don't even try to make the adverts funny or imaginative. I have lots to say against the BBC licence fee, but at least it's a breath of fresh air not having ANY adverts on BBC channels (a few years ago, they used to advertise their tv-listings magazine between programmes, but they don't seem to do this anymore) Well, I don’t know how it goes over there, but over here, we USED to have relatively decent, funny adverts. and not too often.
