I wouldn't say “draconian” – there are laws restricting what press can publish during an election campain – this is to stop the sort of thing that happens in America, where politicians big corporations buy advertising space and print-columns to push their political agenda – in other words, the ones with the most money get the most exposure.
What is interesting is that in these times, do these laws apply to blogs too?
